ITEM 5.02 DEPARTURE OF DIRECTORS OR PRINCIPAL OFFICERS; ELECTION OF DIRECTORS;
APPOINTMENT OF PRINCIPAL OFFICERS.
On January 2, 2007, Columbia Bancorp (the "Company") issued a press release
announcing the hiring of Christine Herb to the position of Executive Vice
President and Chief Information Officer of the Company's wholly owned
subsidiary, Columbia River Bank. Ms. Herb will be responsible for Columbia River
Bank's information systems. She will report to Roger Christensen, Chief
Executive Officer of the Company and of Columbia River Bank.
