Revenue decreased by $32.0 million, or 3%, from $1,145.3 million for the year ended December 31, 2018 to $1,113.3 million for the year ended December 31, 2019. This decrease was attributable to a $28.6 million decrease in revenue from our web presence segment and a $4.0 million decrease in revenue from our domain segment, partially offset by increased revenue of $0.6 million from our email marketing segment.
Our revenue is generated primarily from products and services delivered on a subscription basis, which include web hosting, domains, website builders, search engine marketing, email marketing and other similar services.
