Global Income Trust Inc. was organized as a Maryland corporation on March 4, 2009 and has elected to be taxed, and currently operates as a real estate investment trust (“REIT”) for federal income tax purposes. The terms “our Company,” “we,” “our,” “us” and “Global Income Trust Inc.” include Global Income Trust Inc. and each of its subsidiaries. We are externally managed and advised by CNL Global Income Advisors, LLC (the “Advisor”), a Delaware limited liability company that is wholly owned by affiliates of CNL Financial Group, LLC, our sponsor (the “Sponsor”). CNL Financial Group, LLC is an affiliate of CNL Financial Group Inc. (“CNL”), which is a leading private investment management firm providing global real estate and alternative investments.
