- Results of operations for the year ended December 31, 2023 include the operating activities of the 39 hotels we owned for the entire period. We sold one hotel located in Burlington, MA on May 6, 2022, and sold one hotel located in Dallas, TX and two hotels located in Houston, TX on May 13, 2022. We acquired one hotel located in Miramar Beach, FL on March 8, 2022. We developed and opened, on January 24, 2022, one hotel located in Los Angeles, CA. The changes in results described below were driven primarily by the continued recovery of business travel following the COVID-19 pandemic, the sale of four hotels, the acquisition of one hotel, and the ramp-up from opening one hotel.
