Equal Energy Ltd. (“Equal”) is an exploration and production oil and gas company headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Equal’s oil and gas properties are located in Oklahoma. Equal is the corporate successor to the Trust following the completion of the reorganization of the Trust from an income trust structure to a corporate structure by way of a court approved plan of arrangement under the ABCA on May 31, 2010 (the “Reorganization”). The Reorganization involved the exchange, on a three-for-one basis (the “Consolidation”), of all outstanding Trust Units for common shares of Equal.
