Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition
On July 27, 2016, Entercom Communications Corp. (the “Company”) issued a press release (the “Press Release”) announcing second quarter and year to date 2016 results. Specifically, for the second quarter of 2016 the Company announced:
| • | net revenues of $120.5 million; |
| • | station operating expenses of $82.6 million; |
| • | corporate general and administrative expenses of $8.5 million; |
| • | operating income of $27.6 million; |
| • | net income available to common shareholders of $10.4 million; and |
| • | net income available to common shareholders per share—diluted of $0.26. |
For the six month period ended June 30, 2016, the Company announced:
| • | net revenues of $216.6 million; |
| • | station operating expenses of $154.4 million; |
| • | corporate general and administrative expenses of $16.1 million; |
| • | operating income of $42.3 million; |
| • | net income available to common shareholders of $14.4 million; and |
| • | net income available to common shareholders per share—diluted of $0.37. |
