On August 8, 2010, GMX Resources Inc. (“GMXR”) issued a press release announcing its operational and financial results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2010, and will hold a conference call discussing those results. A copy of the press release is being furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report, which is hereby incorporated by reference into this Item 2.02.
