On July 13, 2007,GMX Resources Inc.(the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its oil and gas production and additional information for the second quarter of 2007. A copy of the release is filed as an exhibit to this report and shall be deemed “filed” for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
