On October 23, 2007, Calamos Asset Management, Inc. (“Corporation”) issued a press release reporting results for the third quarter and first nine months of 2007. A copy of the press release issued by the Corporation is attached as Exhibit 99.1.

On October 18, 2007, the Corporation approved the repurchase of up to 2 million shares of its outstanding Class A common stock. A copy of the press release announcing the Corporation’s stock repurchase is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
