Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On July 20, 2007, Community Partners Bancorp issued a press release reporting earnings and other financial results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2007. A copy of the press release is attached and is being furnished as Exhibit 99.
The information disclosed in this Item 2.02 shall be considered “furnished” but not “filed” for purposes of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.
Item 8.01 Other Events.
In the press release referred to in Item 2.02 of this Form 8-K, Community Partners Bancorp also announced that on July 17, 2007, its Board of Directors approved a 3% stock dividend payable August 31, 2007 to shareholders of record as of August 10, 2007.
