On November 5, 2015, United Development Funding IV issued a press release announcing its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2015. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and the information therein is incorporated herein by reference.

On November 4, 2015, the board of trustees of United Development Funding IV authorized a special distribution of $0.055 per common share of beneficial interest payable on February 16, 2016 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on November 30, 2015. A copy of the press release announcing this special distribution is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
