Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On February 28, 2019, Myers Industries, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing earnings results for the fiscal year and quarter ended December 31, 2018. The full text of the press release issued in connection with the announcement is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report onForm 8-K. In addition, a copy of the presentation which will be discussed during the Company’s earnings conference call at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time on February 28, 2019, is attached as Exhibit 99.2 to this Current Report onForm 8-K. Information about the call can be found in the press release attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report onForm 8-K.
