On March 28, 2011, Optical Cable Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that, effective at the start of trading on March 31, 2011, the Company will change its Nasdaq stock ticker symbol to “OCC” from “OCCF.” A copy of the press release announcing the change in ticker symbol is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
