OYO GEOSPACE ANNOUNCES PRICING OF PUBLIC OFFERING
OF COMMON STOCK BY SELLING STOCKHOLDER
Houston, Texas - February 15, 2012 - OYO Geospace (NASDAQ: OYOG) announced today the pricing of the public offering of 1,122,565 shares of its common stock owned by OYO Corporation U.S.A., the selling stockholder, pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement on Form S-3 previously filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The shares of common stock were priced at $95.00 per share. The selling stockholder granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 168,385 additional shares of common stock. The offering is expected to close on February 22, 2011. OYO Geospace will not receive any proceeds from the sale of the shares of common stock offered by the selling stockholder.
