On February 5, 2018, the Board of Directors of Asta Funding, Inc. (the “Company”), a Delaware corporation, declared a special cash dividend in the amount of $5.30 per share with respect to its Common Stock, payable on February 28, 2018 to holders of record of the Company’s Common Stock at the close of business on February 16, 2018. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
