Item 1.01 Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement.
On November 3, 2006, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and its subsidiary Millennium Research and Development Limited (together “Millennium”) entered into a Deed of Surrender with Granta Park Limited (“Granta Park”) for the property known as GP15, Granta Park, Abington, Cambridgshire, UK.
Under the terms of the deed, Millennium has been released from all further obligations arising under its lease of the property in consideration of a one time payment and Millennium’s return of the property to the landlord, Granta Park.
