Item 8.01 Other Events
On December 9, 2009 - AGL Resources Inc. announced that the Louisiana Mineral and Energy Board approved an operating agreement between AGL Resources’ wholly-owned subsidiary, Jefferson Island Storage & Hub (“JISH”), and the state of Louisiana. The agreement with the state of Louisiana resolves the pending lawsuit between the parties over a disputed mineral lease. The agreement enables JISH to pursue necessary permit approvals to expand its existing storage facility.
