Item 8.01. Other Events
On June 19, 2008, Capital Corp of the West announced the adjournment of its Annual Meeting to be reconvened at 10:00 a.m. on July 1, 2008, at the Company’s headquarters at 550 West Main Street, Merced, California 95340 to consider the approval of the Amended and Restated 2002 Stock Plan. The Company intends to solicit additional proxies in favor of the proposal, which has not received sufficient proxies to be approved.
