ITEM 8.01 Other Events
On May 2, 2005, the Board of Directors of Capital Corp of the West elected Jerry Callister Chairman, replacing Tom Van Groningen as Chairman. Mr Van Groningen will continue to serve as a Director. Over 27 years ago, Jerry Callister was one of the founding Directors and this is his third time to serve as Chairman. Please refer to the May 13, 2005 press release, attached as Exhibit 99.1 for further information.
