Item 5. Other Events.
On January 27, 2003, the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority (the “Authority”) received the requisite consent of its lenders to Amendment No. 6 to its senior secured credit facility (the “Amendment”). The Amendment allows the Authority to create a new subsidiary for the purpose of acquiring a women’s professional basketball team franchise. A copy of the Amendment is attached hereto as Exhibit 10.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
