Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On March 3, 2008, Sunrise Senior Living, Inc. (the “Company”) announced preliminary selected financial and operating data for the quarter ended December 31, 2007. The Company also provided updates on its cash and debt, the accounting restatement, anticipated pre-tax charges and impairments and other matters. A copy of the Company’s press release, dated March 3, 2008, is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K (the “March 3, 2008 Press Release”). The information contained in the March 3, 2008 Press Release regarding the preliminary selected financial and operating data for the quarter ended December 31, 2007, cash and debt, the accounting restatement and anticipated pre-tax charges and impairments is incorporated in this Item 2.02 from the press release by reference.
