Schick Technologies Files Preliminary Proxy Statement for Merger with Sirona Dental Systems
Long Island City, NY, February 10, 2006 — Schick Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCHK) today announced that it has filed a Preliminary Proxy Statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with its proposed merger with Sirona Dental Systems. This transaction is expected to create a leading global player in dental technology equipment with strong product lines in all of the major segments.
