ASE TEST LIMITED ANNOUNCES NEW CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
TAIPEI, TAIWAN, R.O.C JANUARY 12, 2007 – ASE Test Limited (NASDAQ: ASTSF) (the “Company”) today announces that it has appointed Mr. Kenneth Hsiang as its new Chief Financial Officer effective January 11, 2007. Mr. Hsiang joined ASE Group in November 1999. Since June 2004, Mr. Hsiang has served as the President of ISE Labs, Inc., a subsidiary of ASE Test Limited. Mr. Hsiang is a California CPA with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Rhetoric from UC Berkeley. The current Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Freddie Liu, will continue to serve as a Director of ASE Test Limited.
