ITEM 8.01. OTHER EVENTS

On December 24, 2018, Carriage Services, Inc. (the “Company”) closed its previously announced repurchases of approximately $22.42 million in aggregate principal amount of its outstanding 2.75% Convertible Subordinated Notes due 2021 for an aggregate of approximately $23.04 million in cash.
