Item 8.01 Other Events.
On December 19, 2007, The Majestic Star Casino, LLC issued a press release announcing that its plans for the development of new and improved dockside gaming and land based facilities at Buffington Harbor in Gary, Indiana are on hold. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99 to this Form 8-K.
