Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On December 2, 2014, Apricus Biosciences, Inc. (the “Company”) announced the departure of Edward Cox, Vice President, Commercial Development, effective December 1, 2014. Mr. Cox will receive the severance benefits pursuant to the terms of his existing employment agreement.
Also on December 2, 2014, the Company announced the appointment of Brian T. Dorsey as the Company’s Chief Development Officer, a newly established position. He will report to Richard Pascoe, the Company's Chief Executive Officer. His appointment was effective December 1, 2014.
