Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On June 28, 2006, United Auto Group issued a press release announcing that UnitedAuto and smart, a vehicle brand of DaimlerChrysler, have agreed on the framework for the exclusive distribution of smart vehicles in the U.S. and Puerto Rico by a subsidiary of UnitedAuto as more fully discussed in the press release attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
