On March 3, 2008, United Natural Foods, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing Robert A. Sigel’s retirement as President of Specialty Distribution of the Company and President of Millbrook Distribution Services, Inc., which was acquired by the Company in November 2007, and the appointment of Casey Van Rysdam as the President of Specialty Foods. A copy of this press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
