Mr. William R. Picquet, Senior Vice President, Operations of Ultra Petroleum Corp. (the “Company”) intends to retire from the Company at the end of April 2014. Beginning April 1, 2014, Mr. Picquet will no longer serve as our Senior Vice President, Operations; he will serve in a non-executive advisory capacity until his retirement on April 30, 2014.
In connection with Mr. Picquet’s retirement, our Board of Directors appointed Brad Johnson to the position of Senior Vice President, Operations, effective April 1, 2014.
On April 1, 2014, the Company issued a news release announcing Mr. Picquet’s retirement and Mr. Johnson’s promotion. A copy of the news release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
