As was previously reported on a Form 8-K filed on February 10, 2010, on February 4, 2010, the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of World Heart Corporation (the “Company”), upon delegation by the Board of Directors of the Company, approved the payment of cash bonuses to J. Alex Martin, the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Morgan R. Brown, the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and Jal S. Jassawalla, the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, pursuant to the 2009 Performance Bonus Program. The bonus amounts previously reported were incorrect and the correct amounts are set forth in the table below.
