Item 5.02. Election of Directors.
On November 3, 2004, the Board of Directors of Southwest Bancorporation of Texas, Inc. (the “Company”) elected Pastor Kirbyjon H. Caldwell to serve as a director of the Company. Within the past year the Company has loaned Mr. Caldwell approximately $725,000 for purchase of a real estate lot and has approved a construction/mortgage loan in the amount of $2,800,000.
