On May 18, 2023, Urstadt Biddle Properties Inc. (the “Company”) and Regency Centers Corporation (“Regency”) issued a joint press release announcing that the two companies have entered into a definitive merger agreement by which, subject to the terms and conditions thereof, Regency will acquire the Company in an all-stock transaction, valued at approximately $1.4 billion, including the assumption of debt and preferred stock.
