ITEM 2.02. DISCLOSURE OF RESULTS OF OPERATIONS AND FINANCIAL CONDITION.
On October 26, 2006, Land O’Lakes, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing, among other things, its results for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 (the “Earnings Release”). A copy of the Earnings Release was furnished with a Current Report on Form 8-K filed on October 26, 2006.
The Company announced today that certain balance sheet items contained in the Earnings Release have been reclassified. Specifically, the accounts receivable balance was understated by approximately $31 million as was the accounts payable balance. The balance sheet reclassifications were offsetting and had no impact on the Company’s reported earnings or cash flows. Copies of the updated balance sheet and statement of cash flows are furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
