Item 8.01 Other Events.
On February 18, 2014, Bay Banks of Virginia, Inc. (the “Company”), the holding company for Bank of Lancaster, issued a press release announcing it will establish a presence in Richmond, Virginia with the hiring of a veteran banker who will serve as regional president for the greater Richmond metropolitan market. Initial activities will be conducted through a loan production and wealth management office, laying the groundwork for a full service office in the near future.
A copy of the Company’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
