Bay Banks of Virginia, Inc. (OTCBB: BAYK, the “Company”), parent company of Bank of Lancaster and Bay Trust Company, announced that Pamela A. Varnier was elected Corporate Secretary of the Company by the Board of Directors at their Annual Reorganizational Meeting held on May 19, 2008. Ms. Varnier has been serving as Assistant Corporate Secretary since May of 2005 and succeeds Hazel S. Farmer, who continues to serve as Senior Vice President and Chief Relationship Officer for the Bank.
