The information contained in this Item 9 is being furnished to the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “Commission”) pursuant to Item 12 of Form 8-K, “Disclosure of Results of Operations and Financial Condition,” as directed by the Commission in Release No. 34-47583.
On July 22, 2003, we issued a press release announcing second quarter 2003 financial results. The press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
The press release presented non-GAAP financial information that ChoicePoint believes is useful because it allows investors to perform meaningful comparisons of the Company’s results for 2002 and 2003.
On July 22, 2003, ChoicePoint held an investor conference call and Webcast to disclose financial results for the second quarter of 2003. The Supplemental Information package that was placed on the ChoicePoint Inc. Website prior to this call is attached and incorporated by reference herein as Exhibit 99.2. All information in this Supplemental Information package is presented as of June 30, 2003, and ChoicePoint Inc. does not assume any obligation to correct or update said information in the future.
