Effective June 14, 2007, the Board of Directors of Leiner Health Products Inc. (the “Company”) voted to appoint Robert K. Reynolds as President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Reynolds, 50, has been a Director since September 2006 and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company since February 2006. Prior to that, Mr. Reynolds served as the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from January 2002 to July 2006. Mr. Reynolds will continue to report to Robert Kaminski, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer.
