Item 8.01 Other Events.
On June 8, 2006, RAIT Investment Trust ("RAIT") and Taberna Realty Finance Trust ("Taberna") issued a joint press release announcing the execution by and among RAIT, a subsidiary of RAIT and Taberna of an Agreement and Plan of Merger dated as of June 8, 2006.
A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein.
