On April 22, 2015, Eastern Virginia Bankshares, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release (the “Press Release”) announcing the Company’s completion of a private placement of $20.0 million in aggregate principal amount of its 6.50% Fixed to Floating Rate Subordinated Notes due 2025 to certain institutional accredited investors.
