Fresh Del Monte Produce Announces Share Repurchase Program
CORAL GABLES, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 5, 2010--Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. (NYSE: FDP) announced today that at its May 5, 2010 Board of Directors Meeting, the Board approved a new three-year share repurchase program of up to $150 million of the Company’s ordinary shares. The share repurchase program announced today is in addition to the Company’s existing share repurchase program of $150 million, approved by the Board on July 31, 2009, and which has a remaining authorization of approximately $107 million as of today’s date.
