Item 5.04 Temporary Suspension of Trading Under Registrant's Employee Benefit Plans.
On August 25, 2008, Warwick Valley Telephone Company sent a notice to its directors and executive officers informing them of a temporary suspension of trading under the Warwick Valley Telephone Company 401(k) Plan (the "Plan") to complete the transition of the trustee of the Plan from Milliman to Principal Life Insurance Company.
