On April 4, 2016, Anworth Mortgage Asset Corporation (the “Company”) commenced the mailing of its proxy statement, its annual report for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2015 (the “2015 Annual Report”), and other items in connection with the Company’s 2016 annual meeting of stockholders to be held on May 18, 2016. Included within the Company’s 2015 Annual Report is the Chief Executive Officer’s “Letter to the Shareholders,” a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
