Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition, Declaration of Dividend
On April 20, 2011, Brookline Bancorp, Inc. announced its earnings for the 2011 first quarter and approval by its Board of Directors of a regular quarterly dividend of $0.085 per share payable May 16, 2011 to stockholders of record on April 29, 2011. See Exhibit 99.1 attached hereto for the press release issued April 20, 2011 relating to these matters.
