On November 19, 2009, the Registrant’s Board of Directors appointed Vincent A. Spero to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer of Peapack-Gladstone Financial Corporation (the “Corporation”) and of Peapack-Gladstone Bank, the Corporation’s bank subsidiary. Mr. Spero joined the Bank in June of 2008 as Senior Vice President and Senior Commercial Lender. Mr. Spero has over 20 years of commercial banking experience. Mr. Spero succeeds Garrett P. Bromley, who announced his decision to retire effective on January 4, 2010. Mr. Bromley, a loyal and dedicated employee, will retire after 13 years with the Bank and over 35 years in the financial service industry. Attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 is a copy of a press release of the Corporation dated November 23, 2009.
