Item 8.01 Other Events.
On December 20, 2006, American Tower Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release reporting the remediation plan approved by the Company’s Board of Directors relating to the review of the Company’s historical stock option granting practices and announcing the resumption of the Company’s stock repurchase program. A copy of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
