(b) On August 6, 2007, Bruce E. Kiddoo resigned from the position of Vice President and Corporate Controller of Broadcom Corporation, and from his position as Principal Accounting Officer of Broadcom, as well as from his positions as an officer and/or director of various Broadcom subsidiaries, effective August 31, 2007.
Mr. Kiddoo is leaving Broadcom voluntarily to join Maxim Integrated Products, Inc. as Vice President of Finance and is to become their Chief Financial Officer upon completion of Maxim's current financial restatement. There are no disagreements between Mr. Kiddoo and Broadcom, and his departure from the company is an amicable one.
