Item 8.01 Other Events.
On January 23, 2007, the Board of Directors of Blue River Bancshares, Inc. declared a quarterly dividend of $.02 per common share. The dividend will be payable on March 1, 2007, to shareholders of record at the close of business on February 15, 2007. Blue River Bancshares also announced that its wholly-owned banking subsidiary, Shelby County Bank, plans to open a loan production office in Fishers, Indiana on February 6, 2007.
A copy of the press release announcing the dividend and the loan production office is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
