On March 9, 2009, West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. issued a press release announcing that Donald E. Morel, Jr., Ph.D., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and William J. Federici, Chief Financial Officer, will be presenting at the 2009 Barclays Global Healthcare Conference at 3:45 pm Eastern Time on March 11, 2009 in Miami Beach, FL.

A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.2. Both Exhibits are incorporated herein by reference.
