(Nasdaq: BEBE) today reported retail sales of $28.2 million for the month ended October 31, 2003, an increase of 10.2% compared to sales of $25.6 million for the month ended October 31, 2002. Same store sales for October increased 4.9% over the comparable period of fiscal 2003. Prior year same store sales decreased 4.7% for October 2002. Retail sales for the four months ended October 31, 2003 were $111.0 million compared to $98.7 million for the corresponding period last year, an increase of 12.5%.
