On September 6, 2005, MIPS Technologies, Inc. ("MIPS") issued a press release announcing that it has acquired First Silicon Solutions, Inc. ("FS2") through a reverse triangular merger of FS2 with a wholly-owned subsidiary of MIPS. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.01 and is incorporated herein by reference.
